Mashallah (by grace of Allah) Moulana Yusuf Goolam Hoosen from South Africa and Brother Zakaria Omar led Ramadan activities at Islamic Society of Greater Richmond (ISGR) in 1424 AH / 2003 CE.

Both brothers are Hafiz-ul-Qur'an and scholars of Qur'an and Sunnah.  They were responsible for leading regular prayers, Taraweeh, Qur'an and Sunnah talks, teaching in Sunday School etc.  During Ramadan, brothers were available for consultation.    Additional brothers were available for teaching, daily talks, and leading special prayers.

During last ten days,  ISGR completed one more recitation of Qur'an, 10 Juz/Para in Tahajjud and 20 Juz/Para in direct recitation by brothers who were Hafiz-ul-Qur'an between Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers.

We had SALAT-UL-TASBEEH or PRAYER FOR GLORIFICATION on the evening of Friday November 21, 2003 (27th night of Ramadan), after the regular Taraweeh prayers.  Qur'an recitation in Taraweeh completed on the evening of Sunday November 23rd (29th night of Ramadan).
