ISGR Prayer Calendars

ISGR Prayer calendars gives best possible prayer times for different madhabs (school of thoughts) and are consistent with Islamic Fiqh (jurisprudence) principles and astronomical phenomenon. Prayer times calculations for Fajr (morning) and Ishaa (evening) prayers used the recommendations by the Muslim World League’s Fiqh Council and a committee of astronomers who met in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. To satisfy all madhabs (school of thoughts), ISGR uses the Asr (late afternoon) prayer times from Hanafi school of thought. Explanation. Two minutes were added to Maghrib (sunset) prayer times for added margin of safety. Starting date of a Islamic month is just a estimate and is subject to actual moon sighting.
