Dear Brothers,
As we all know the Torah and Gospels are both stories of salvation and linear histories.
Many of the stories contained in these writings were well known as oral histories in part or whole throughout the Arab tribes that descended from Abraham(peace be upon him). AT the time of Muhammad's call to prohethood there were not copies of the Torah and Gospel floating around like modern printing has allowed for us. The Quran (meaning Recitations)refers to these events to relate how peoples over time distorted the message of the oneness of God(glorified is he) as given by his prophets. Muhammad's (peace be uopn him)message was to call all peoples and nations to return to the worship of God and to give up their idolatry and shirk.

The Quran itself stands not as Muhammad's handy work, but as a testiment of God's wisdom. Within it, you will find scientific wisdom revealed over 1400 years ago that have become verifiable only within the last few centuries. In addition, what author would censure himself? Muhammad was rebuked by God in the Quran for his passing annoyance with one Muslim brother. God clearly points out to us Muhammad even as respected and loved as he was, he still was in need of God's mercy for the forgiveness of sins.

Muhammad was by his virtue an honest an humble man and was recognized by all his kinsmen and tribal relations as such. His call to God's message was so welcomed by many. In just the few years he was in Mecca there were hundreds that accepted Islam,in thirteen years the ranks of the believers grew to thousands and just before his death after 23 years over 10,000 believers.
Since then 5 billion+ Muslims worlwide.
This growth is not because Muslim call others to Islam per se, this is because the Quran and the teachings of Muhammad speak for themselves as truth and guidence from God.

The only disagreement we have had with our Jewish brothers has been the concept of choseness and the exclusion of the rest of humanity. Or with our Chrsitian brothers that continue to propagate the Trinity, which is an ancient pagan belief system older than Abraham himself. Please consider the message of Islam as one to preserve us all as believers and to rightly guide us by God 's wisdom, not with our own which fails us eternally.

why then all the stories of the kuran is exactly matches the stories of the bible and the enjeel while moslem says that bible has been minupilated by jews and they have changed the bible the way it suits them. in the kuraan that mohammed is testefiying for the bible(tora and enjeel) so if all are false how mohamed was having them reading them dicussing them know the story of greating the world in 6 days
abrahan nooh lot yusuf etc. in our time copying fron a source without refering to it is a crime not a devine as you claim. mohahamed was one of the schoolars who studied the torah and enjeel but was the briliant he stayed 13 yers in maka to convince any body about his message which is a bad translatin of tora and enjeel but in vain
only 3 people belived in him as warner and gosbel carrier but not as a proghet
then he fought to impose what he called arabic kuraan by force on the inhabitants of arab penesula. no proght ever fought to impose his mission if he is sent of god because god direct peaople to believe not the sword not the jizia so mohamed till now all moslem cry that he is the proghet of god, if he realy is he doeos not need this testemoney , if he is not this testemoney will not benifit him. no new ideas in kuraan so66% of it is replaced by cancelling verses one by another. if you are serious wipe out the cancel verses from the kuraan then you will end reading the bible in very weak arabic translation concering the events and histrorical places. you are deceived god is love not sword. so what you are telling about mouhamed is not true all froged.

Never, Never... People talking about the the influence of Jews or christian on Quraan don't relate that to the prophet's marriage, as marriage with these two women was late in Islam, and they were not religiously educated before. but they relate that to a "Monk" before Islam his name was (Bahera). When Mohamed's uncle ( Abu Taleb) took him once in a trade journey to Syria, they stopped at Bahera's house. Mohammed at that time was a young boy, but Bahera realized that he would be the prophet, the jews were waiting for. As you may know, a full description of Mohammed was mentioned in the books of Jews and christians in full details ( they knew him more than they knew their offsprings). Then Bahera asked Abu Taleb to protect his nephew as he would be the messanger to all the world, and would be fought by jews. Jews and Christians clained that Mohammed learned Quraan from this scholar Bahera, but Allah said in Quraan that Bahera was not talking Arabic, Quraan was revealed in Arabic, and no one claimed to innovate even one versus like Quraan even at the time of computers.

Another clue that Mohammed was mentioned in Jews and Christians' books was that, the people of Yathrib ( named Elmadina after the immigration of Muslims) accepted Islam because they heard the characters of Mohammed from the neighbour jews who were living in Yathrib.

If you learn about Islam, you will find it completely unique as a complete system in life, suitable for all the times, and all the places till the day of judgement. Faith in Islam is completely different from that of Christians and Jews...

The prophet Mohamed ( Peace and Prayer Upon Him) had married a jew, after she accepted Islam, her name was Safia, the girl of Hoii Akhtab ( the leader of the jew in Yathrib before Islam).

The prophet also, married Mary ( she was a sleeve sent to him from Mokawkas, the governer of Egypt at that time). She accepted Islam also, The prophet married her. Mary was the mother of his only son ( Ibrahim), who died also at the prophet's life.

This indicates that, whatever the religious background you were born with, you can accept Islam, and Islam can put you in a high status among Muslims.

Sincere question,

I posted the same question on soundvision and now I am posting it here. I was having a discussion with some friends and I have been doing some research about islam but I wold like to know if true or not. Some friends told me that during mohammeds revelation he married ajew or a christian women, which sounds (to me somewhat suspect)as far as the origins of the Quran,is this true?
